Clydesdales originated in Scotland. They are also great big shaggy draught horses with wonderful temperaments. Their color range tends to be a little more diverse than the other draught breeds, with many white splotches and various shades of roan, bays and blacks being the most common. Clydesdales are also enjoying a great re-emergence in interest around the world for all the same reasons as the Shires. Like the other Draft breeds they are true Gentle Giants with very gentle temperaments whilst still being highly intelligent and willing learn. We have slowly increased our Clydesdale herd from a few individuals to the status where we now have 3 stallions and 25 mares. View our Clydesdale Collection in our Gallery.
